A fairly straight forward walk of 13 miles today. The day was clear and crisp in the morning, clear and hot in the afternoon. In the morning, we walked through many vineyards and other fields. By afternoon, it was primarily wheat fields. I understand that it will be mainly wheat fields for the next week or so.
We walked through a community of probably 500-1000 houses built around a beautiful golf course about 10 miles through our walk. I,would guess 90% of the houses were other empty or for sale. ,I understand this is a fallout of the crash of 2009.
We are staying at a lovely Parador tonight. A beautiful old hospital from 100's of years ago, converted into a hotel. Beautiful, definitely the nicest place we have stayed.
Tonight we went into the village for a while. It turns out, they are celebrating St Dominic's day, so lots going on here. We saw a band playing in the local sq (see photo). Tonight w had a nice dinner, and were joined by a Dutch couple that we met in the restaurant. Interesting group....
Tomorrow, we have a 16 mile walk to Belorado. It is supposed to rain, so could be a challenging day, depending on how hard it rains, and the condition of the road.
On the health front, the lovely Linda continues to rebound from her injuries of last week. She is doing terrific, and has healed in an amazing way. Must be the magic of the Camino! That said, our feet continue to be a challenge, and I suspect will be until the end!

You guys are walking like race horses! I hope that look Linda is giving the camera is for MJ and not for you or me, Mike. MJ is the one that said it was just an easy walk!
